Ramblings (Again)

Sebuah kisah perjalanan bersama masa. Semua orang belajar dan membesar tetapi belum tentu dewasa.

A story of self growth, whether it's about finding and improving one own self, as well as reminding ourselves that we merely regular human beings.

Angin datang membawa salam. Bibir mengukir senyum. Walau hati tak mampu menafsir.

Merenung pemandangan, mengundang pelbagai rasa. Monolog sendiri.

Jalan hidup ini memang banyak simpang dan bonggol yang tak diduga. Yang berlaku tiba-tiba dan tak tersangka.

Ramblings

 Relatable. Comfort. Escapism.

Berdamai dengan takdir dan masa silam. Pelbagai rasa.

Sometimes, this world is just weird.

Keluar dari comfort zones, dari yang membatasi potensi diri sebenar.

"Some things in life are too complicated to explain in any language" - Haruki Murakami -

The absence of hope. Some people understand, some will judge. But there are also people that will not give up on us.

Pagi yang Indah

 Selamat Pagi Dunia!

Alhamdulillah, dia dapat tidur lena malam semalam. Tidurnya tak terganggu dek mimpi ngeri ataupun rasa-rasa tak selesa. Pagi ni rasa segar bila bangun. Seronok bangun awal-awal pagi, rasa nyaman, tenang...mandi air sejuk! Tapi dia...hmmmm selalu lupa nak buat. Kringggggg! Bunyi jam loceng yang entah ke berapa kali, terus bingkas bangun sebab takut lewat. Memang patutlah makin kerap sakit2 badan sekarang, tak dengar cakap orang2 tua :p

Coffee! Actually, dia selalu minum nescafee susu panas, barulah rasa lengkap paginya. Kalau tak, boleh rasa stress sampai sakit kepala. Tahap addicted hihi.

Harinya bermula dengan secawan kopi panas.

Dah masuk Februari 2021!

Laju betul masa berlalu. Sejak masuk tahun baru 2021, belum sempat lagi menjenguk ke sini, tup tup dah masuk bulan Februari.

Makin teruk rasanya tak pandai manage masa. Banyak benda terpaksa diletakkan bawah mode Work In Progress. Cuba laju sikit. Laju macam Covid-19? Opps!

Unforgettable travel experiences in South Korea

 1. Hiking Seoraksan (most famous national park) especially during autumn. Enjoy the rocky cliffs, waterfalls and quiet valleys blanketed by snow in the winter and flowering trees in the spring.

2. South Korea's market especially Namdaemun Shijang in Seoul.

3. Taking a boat to one of the many small coastal islands. One of the best routr is to take a 4- hour ride from Tongyeoung, which includes Somaeumul-do and other islands in the Hallyeo Haesang National Marine Park.

4. Seeing a traditional performance - pansori (Korea's wailing blues), a mask dance or hallowed sound of the bamboo daegeum (flute).

5. Seeing the city lights twinkling below from Namsan (Seoul) - Seoul tower on top of Namsan gives you the best view of the city (don't forget to add a key lock to the thousands already left by lovers along the viewing platform).

6. Taking a night cruise along the Han River (Seoul) - catch a ferry from a dock in Yeouido.

7. Contemporary art in Insadong, the traditional art district.

8. Enjoying an Al Fresco Cup of Joe (coffee) on Gwangalli Beach (Busan)

Hello Korea!

SEOUL - a city with efficient subway system from Apgujeoung to Changdeokgung. High-speed KTX train to Gyeongju (South Korea's historic sites) or beaches of Busan.
Islands view from the cable car atop Tongyeoung and shrubs of green tea growing on soft hillsides in Boseong.

Cherry blossoms bloom in the spring or autumn especially in Seoraksan. Mountainous terrain or quieter temples.

Jeju-do - beach towns specialize in hwae (raw fish) and other seafood, such as shellfish hand-caught by women divers.
Gangwon-do - known for its potatoes. Jinju for its bibimbap (mixed rice bowl) and Danyang for its garlic.
Grill meat, naengmyeon (buckwheat noodles) or spicy boong-uh bbang (goldfish cookies).

Busan and Haeundae has wide sandy beaches. Gangwon-do's rocky coasts cascade down to dramatic waves. Jeju-do has unforgettable coasts, created when volcanic lava cooled quickly in the surrounding sea. Jeolla-do, Gyeongsang-do, Goseong - tiny islands.
